We pride ourselves on offering our guests a home from home atmosphere in friendly surroundings, where they can relax after a long journey IN OUR HOT, 100% THERMAL MINERAL POOL, 39º C, FROM UNDER THE GROUND. Or spend a day visiting some of the many attractions and activities Rotorua has to offer.

We offer courtesy pick up from air or bus terminal. We also have off street parking.

Our home is SMOKE FREE.

On your arrival at Tresco we will supply you with a map and show you some of the many interesting attractions and activities there are to see in the Rotorua area. We also make reservations for any tours or cultural evenings you may wish to visit either before or on your arrival. We suggest you spend at least two nights in the Rotorua area as there are many attractions and activities that are not to be missed.

Tresco was built in 1925 as a family home and became a bed and breakfast establishment in the late 1960’s. Changes continue to be made to this house, in an attempt to up-grade, and to provide a quality B&B , where cleanliness and character are paramount.

About the name "Tresco"
Tresco is the name of an island in the Scilly Isles just South West of England's Cornish Coast.
We believe that Tresco was owned originally by a family from the island although we have not been able to substantiate this.

Tresco Breakfast
Your day at Tresco begins with a breakfast of cereals, juice, fruit, and selection of breads, and for those with a hearty appetite will enjoy bacon and eggs. Scrambled or poached eggs for those with smaller appetite are also offered. Filter coffee and breakfast or herbal tea round off your meal.
Breakfast is always a pleasant time our guests enjoy chatting and exchanging ideas and suggestions on what to see and do during their Rotorua stay.

Later in the day our genuine hot mineral pool is recommended for soothing away jet lag and helping relieve aching feet after a day sightseeing.

Tresco Thermal Oasis B&B is the Rotorua Tourists safe haven. Value, location, hospitality and warmth of care are the objects of this B&B.
